Sony Group's Board Approves $1.6 Billion Share Repurchase Program

07:22 AM EDT, 05/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sony Group ( SONY ) said Tuesday its board of directors approved the repurchase of up to 30 million shares of its own common stock for up to 250 billion Japanese yen ($1.6 billion).

The shares can be repurchased from May 15, 2024 to May 14, 2025 on the open market through the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Price: 78.31, Change: +2.16, Percent Change: +2.84
