09:53 AM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SoundHound AI ( SOUN ) said Tuesday that it acquired privately-held tech company Interactions.

The company said the acquisition price consists of approximately $60 million in cash payable at close, as well as additional payments that are contingent on meeting certain revenue milestones.

The transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to SoundHound's operating profitability, the company said, adding that it has more than $270 million of cash on hand and no outstanding debt.

Shares of SoundHound AI ( SOUN ) were down 1.7% in recent early trading.
