05:53 AM EDT, 03/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SoundHound AI ( SOUN ) said Monday it has launched an in-vehicle voice assistant that uses a generative artificial intelligence large language model while running on the Nvidia (NVDA) Drive platform.

The SoundHound Chat AI voice assistant can function without internet or cloud connectivity. The voice assistant can access the motor vehicle's manual and provide safety and vehicle maintenance information, as well as answer questions about routing.

Terms of the partnership between SoundHound and Nvidia ( NVDA ) were not disclosed.
