12:03 PM EDT, 03/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Source Rock Royalties ( SRRRF ) on Tuesday said its preliminary fourth-quarter royalty production and revenue both fell.
The oil and gas royalty company said royalty production fell 12% to 226 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), from the prior year period.
Royalty revenue of $1.33 million, was 29% lower than the previous corresponding quarter.
The company also sold two sections of oil-sands leases in Alberta to a top-tier intermediate operator. Source Rock, who acquired its 50% interest in the lands for $110,000, received $225,000 for its interest and has retained a 1.75% gross overriding royalty in 100% of production from the lands.
Source Rock continues to own a 50% interest in 32 sections (20,480 acres) of oil sands, petroleum and natural gas leases in Alberta.
The company will report its audited fourth-quarter results on April 30.
Source Rock shares were last seen down $0.01 to $0.96 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
