South Korea trade and industry minister asks US for exemption from tariffs

SEOUL, May 16 (Reuters) - South Korea's minister of

trade and industry Ahn Deuk-geun said on Friday that he met U.S.

Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and asked again for a waiver

from Washington's tariff measures.

Ahn also said the South Korean delegation would visit the

United States next week for technical talks as part of tariff

negotiations.
