Giiro, a new robot launched by the South Korean IoT company Gaze Lab in collaboration with a startup called Morethings helps you to obtain good posture at your standing desk, reported The Verge
.
It's an Alexa-enabled gadget which uses a mat, named Giiromat on the floor in front of the desk to sense if one is standing up, straight and disturbing your weight evenly.
This robot resembles a Minion from the Despicable Me franchise, who looks upset, even when one makes decent posture.
For a bad posture, its single eye turns into an X mark, as if it can’t bear the sight and if one has twisted one leg behind the other leg, the Giiro robot gives side-eye until it is fixed.
According to the report, Giiro gives a total of nine different expressions and it will also lean in the same direction and angle as one does it.
It's available in different colours and also, there is an app called Giiro app, which monitors the posture and gives feedback on it. This bluetooth enabled robot can be paired with smart devices to play music at home.
The Giiro robot will be available in December, with most models shipping out in March 2019.
