Aug 26 (Reuters) - South Korea's Samsung Heavy

Industries said in a statement it has signed a

memorandum of understanding with the Vigor Marine Group on U.S.

Navy ship maintenance and will actively pursue joint

shipbuilding with a U.S. company.
