Southern Company's Georgia Power Appoints Tyler Cook as CFO

05:21 PM EDT, 07/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Southern Company ( SO ) subsidiary Georgia Power said late Tuesday it appointed Tyler Cook as chief financial officer, senior vice president, and treasurer, starting July 31.

Cook succeeds Aaron Abramovitz, who will become senior vice president of finance and treasurer at Southern Company ( SO ).
