01:10 PM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Southern States Bancshares ( SSBK ) said Thursday it completed the acquisition of Century Bank of Georgia's parent company CBB Bancorp.

Southern States had offered CBB Bancorp shareholders an option to either receive 1.550 of its share or $45.63 in cash for every stock they held.

The aggregate value of the transaction was $27 million.
