02:31 PM EDT, 03/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Southland (SLND) shares were up 28% in Thursday trading after the company said it received a notice to proceed on three projects worth $118 million through its subsidiary, Oscar Renda Contracting.

The work includes a $48 million data center project for an undisclosed client in the Southwest that is slated to be completed in 2026, Southland said late Wednesday.

The company was also tasked with a $40 million Capers Ridge Pump Station expansion project for the Coastal Water Authority in Cleveland, Texas and a $30 million NE Reservoir Pump Station & Transmission Main for the City of Cape Coral, Florida, Southland said.
