09:24 AM EDT, 10/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Southwest Airlines ( LUV ) said Thursday that it is boosting its year-over-year frequencies from Las Vegas, Orlando, San Diego and Austin for summer 2026.
The company said it is boosting year-over-year frequencies on eight routes from Las Vegas, while launching international service there for the first time, connecting to Cancun, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta in Mexico.
It said that from Orlando its network is growing year-over-year frequencies on 11 routes, enhancing its existing service to 63 destinations.
Southwest Airlines ( LUV ) said that from the new Terminal 1 at San Diego International Airport, it is scheduled to offer a record high of 134 trips on peak days and a record high of 43 destinations.
It will also connect to Boston from San Diego and increases its departures to eight to San Francisco on peak days, the company said.
The company said that service will begin on May 15 at Anchorage, Alaska's Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, with connections to Denver and Las Vegas.
The schedule is available for booking until Aug. 3, the company added.
Southwest Airlines ( LUV ) shares were up 2% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
