08:08 AM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Southwest Airlines Company ( LUV ) and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 19 union said Monday that the airline's Flight Simulator Technicians have voted in favor of a new four-year contract.

Under the terms of the contract, the 54 IBT Local 19 technicians will receive a 23% wage increase, more paid paternity and maternity leave, an improved retirement package, a new Simulation Engineer classification, and ratification bonuses.

The contract will become amendable in September 2028.
