Southwest Airlines Reaches Tentative Deal With Flight Attendants' Union for New Labor Contract

09:59 AM EDT, 03/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Southwest Airlines ( LUV ) said Wednesday it has reached a tentative agreement with the Transport Workers Union Local 556 for a labor contract covering the airlines' 20,000 flight attendants.

The company said the union will provide details to the flight attendants regarding the deal and the voting process.

Southwest Airlines ( LUV ) shares were 0.7% higher in recent trading.
