Southwest Airlines Transport Workers Approve New 5-Year Contract

05:40 PM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Southwest Airlines ( LUV ) said late Thursday that its ramp, operations, provisioning and cargo agents approved a new five-year labor contract.

The contract covers roughly 18,000 workers, represented by the Transport Workers Union Local 555, and includes compensation increases and a bonus, the company said.

Southwest Airlines ( LUV ) said the agreement becomes amendable March 21, 2029.
