Southwestern Energy's Q2 Adjusted Earnings Increase, Revenue Falls

03:40 AM EDT, 08/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Southwestern Energy Company ( SWN ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Thursday of $0.10 per diluted share, up from $0.09 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.10.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.08 billion, compared with $1.27 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.51 billion.

The company said due to its pending merger with Chesapeake Energy, it has discontinued providing guidance.
