07:29 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- S&P Global's ( SPGI ) division S&P Dow Jones Indices said Monday it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire ARC Research, a subsidiary of ARC Group, to expand its investment performance data and benchmarking capabilities in the private wealth market.

ARC Research holds a proprietary dataset comprising over 500,000 private client portfolios spanning more than two decades, it said.

The acquisition is expected to enhance S&P DJI's offerings for wealth managers, private banks, and financial advisers by providing deeper insights and specialized benchmarks, S&P added.

The transaction is anticipated to close in the third quarter of 2025, subject to customary regulatory approvals, the company said without disclosing the financial terms of the transaction.
