08:32 AM EDT, 10/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- S&P Global ( SPGI ) on Thursday named new executive team ahead of Martina L. Cheung's transition to president and chief executive on Nov. 1.
Saugata Saha, who currently serves as President of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will take over as President of S&P Global Market Intelligence, succeeding Adam Kansler, who will stay on as a special advisor through March 2025, the company said. Saha will also serve as the company's chief enterprise data officer, focusing on data integration across S&P Global ( SPGI ), it added.
Dave Ernsberger, who is currently Head of Market Reporting and Trading Solutions at S&P Global Commodity, and Mark Eramo, who is currently Head of Fuels, Chemicals & Resource Solutions business line for S&P Global Commodity Insights, will serve as co-presidents of S&P Global Commodity Insights, leading the division's energy transition and sustainability efforts, S&P said.
Eric Aboaf will become chief financial officer in February 2025, with added responsibilities for Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Responsibility disclosures, S&P said. Chief Legal Officer Steve Kemps will also oversee Corporate Compliance and Risk functions in an expanded role, the company added.
Girish Ganesan, who is SVP of People, will be appointed chief people officer, while Global Head of Communications Christina Twomey will step into the chief communications officer role, also leading the office of the CEO, S&P said. Sally Moore will assume a newly created role as chief client officer, responsible for commercial strategy, strategic account management, and alliances, it added.
Chief Purpose Officer Dimitra Manis will stay with S&P through March 2025 as a special adviser, the company said.
