05:35 PM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- S&P Global ( SPGI ) said Tuesday its S&P Global Ratings division agreed to pay a $20 million penalty as part of a settlement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to resolve violations of recordkeeping rules.

Certain other statistical rating organizations also agreed to the settlement, S&P Global ( SPGI ) said.
