01:11 PM EST, 01/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Management at SPARQ Systems ( SPRQF ) , whose shares are up near 20% and have hit 52 week highs on Thursday, say they are "unaware of any material change" in operations that would account for the recent increase in market activity.
Near 595,000 shares in the company -- which designs and manufactures next generation single-phase microinverters for residential and commercial solar electric applications -- have changed hands today.
The company's shares were last seen up $0.24, to $1.65, on the TSX Venture Exchange, having earlier hit as high as $1.88. They were trading nearer $0.80 on Dec. 23 last and nearer $0.70 about a month ago.
According to a report from Simply Wall St today the group holding the most number of shares in the company, around 50%, is retail investors. It said a total of 10 investors have 50% ownership while insiders had a 24% share.
