SpartanNash Agrees to be Acquired by C&S Wholesale Grocers for $1.77 Billion

08:31 AM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SpartanNash Company ( SPTN ) said Monday it has agreed to be acquired by C&S Wholesale Grocers for $26.90 per share for a total price of $1.77 billion.

The companies said the acquisition price represents a 52.5% premium compared with SpartanNash's ( SPTN ) closing price Friday of $17.64 a share.

The companies said the transaction, which has been unanimously approved by both boards, is expected to close in late 2025.
