Sphere Entertainment Swings to Fiscal Q4 Loss, Revenue Rises

08:07 AM EDT, 08/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sphere Entertainment ( SPHR ) reported a fiscal Q4 loss Wednesday of $1.31 per diluted share, swinging from earnings of $15.24 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $2.04 per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $273.4 million, up from $129.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $271.4 million.

Shares of the company were up 13% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
