10:42 AM EDT, 04/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Spire Global ( SPIR ) said Wednesday it will design, build and operate 16 satellites with improved second-generation payloads under its expanded space services agreement with Internet of Things provider Myriota.

The new launches will bring the total number of satellites deployed for Myriota by Spire Space Services to over 40, Spire Global ( SPIR ) said.

The expansion will allow for more scalable and reliable IoT connectivity for smart devices worldwide, the company said.
