(Reuters) - Spirit AeroSystems ( SPR ) on Friday reported a $577 million operating loss for the fourth quarter of 2024 compared with $215 million in operating income during the same three months a year earlier, which was helped by a funding agreement with key customer Boeing ( BA ).

The key supplier to the U.S. planemaker warned in November there was "substantial doubt" it would be able to continue as a going concern.
