Spirit AeroSystems Shareholders Approve Merger With Boeing

04:50 PM EST, 01/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Spirit AeroSystems Holdings ( SPR ) said Friday it has obtained shareholder approval for its acquisition by Boeing ( BA ) .

The transaction is set to close mid-2025, subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions, Spirit said.

Spirit said it will continue to operate independently until the transaction closes.
