02:51 PM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Spirit AeroSystems Holdings ( SPR ) intends to lay off roughly 450 employees at its main campus in Wichita, Kansas, as it deals with mounting losses and a slowdown in deliveries to Boeing ( BA ) , multiple media outlets reported Thursday, citing a Spirit spokesperson.

The potential layoffs were first reported by KSN TV.

The company did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
