10:33 AM EDT, 08/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Spirit Airlines (FLYY) said Tuesday it will launch nonstop flights from Fort Lauderdale to Grand Cayman, starting Dec. 4.

The company said this will be the only nonstop route between the two cities and will operate three times a week -- on Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays.

Travelers from over 30 cities in Spirit's network can also reach Grand Cayman through one-stop connections via Fort Lauderdale. Introductory one-way fares start at $66, including taxes and fees, the company said.

Shares of Spirit Airlines fell past 3% in recent trading activity.
