Spotify Introduces AI-Driven Feature to Create Playlists

02:24 PM EDT, 04/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Spotify Technology ( SPOT ) is introducing a new artificial intelligence-driven feature that would let premium users create music playlists using prompts.

Spotify ( SPOT ) said Sunday it is rolling out the feature as a beta feature, initially to users in the UK and Australia, and will let listeners curate tracks using reference points such as places, animals, genres or mood.

Spotify ( SPOT ) added that the beta version will not produce results for non-music-related prompts, like current events or specific brands.
