Spotify Names Gustav Soderstrom, Alex Norstrom as Co-CEOs

07:57 AM EDT, 09/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Spotify Technology ( SPOT ) said Tuesday it has appointed Gustav Soderstrom and Alex Norstrom as co-chief executive officers, with CEO Daniel Ek to assume the executive chairman role, effective Jan. 1.

Soderstrom currently serves as the company's co-president and chief product and technology Officer, while Norstrom is co-president and chief business officer.

Spotify ( SPOT ) shares were down 3.9% in recent premarket activity.
