SpringWorks Therapeutics Shares Fall After Wider-Than-Expected Q1 Loss

11:20 AM EDT, 05/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SpringWorks Therapeutics ( SWTX ) shares fell more than 8% in recent Thursday trading after the drugmaker reported a wider-than-expected Q1 loss.

The company reported a Q1 loss of $1.18 per diluted share, unchanged from a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected a loss of $1.17.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $21 million. The company did not report any revenue in the year-ago quarter.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $13.1 million.

As of March 31, the company said it had $573 million in cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities.
