09:19 AM EDT, 04/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sprott Asset Management, a unit of Sprott , on behalf of the Sprott Physical Gold Trust ( PHYS ) , said on Friday that the trust updated its at-the-market equity program to issue an additional US$1 billion of units of the trust in the United States and Canada.

The offering under the ATM program is being made pursuant to a prospectus supplement dated April 11, to the trust's U.S. base prospectus and pursuant to the prospectus supplement and the base shelf prospectus dated Sept. 6, 2024.

Shares of Sprott Physical closed up 2% to $33.98 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
