07:50 AM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sprott (SII.TO) Tuesday reported higher third-quarter net income, but missed estimates. The company also announced senior appointments.
Net income rose 4% to US$13.2 million, or $0.51 per share, from $12.7 million, or $0.50 per share, for the prior year period. Analysts polled by FactSet had forecast $0.66 per share.
Sprott announced a 33% dividend hike to $0.40 per share on Tuesday.
The company said that Ryan McIntyre, currently senior managing partner of Sprott and senior portfolio manager of Sprott Asset Management, has been appointed President of Sprott, in addition to his current role. He joined Sprott in 2023 and was formerly President of Maverix Metals
Kevin Hibbert, chief financial officer, and Arthur Einav, general counsel, have been appointed co-chief operating officers, in addition to their current roles. Hibbert joined Sprott in 2014 and Einav in 2010.
Sprott shares are up $0.02, to $81.95, in U.S. pre-market trading.
