07:29 AM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Squarespace ( SQSP ) shares were up more than 12% in recent Monday premarket activity after the company said it signed a roughly $6.90 billion all-cash deal with private equity firm Permira.

The deal will likely close by Q4, whereby Squarespace's ( SQSP ) common shares will no longer be listed publicly, the company said.
