June 25 (Reuters) - SRG Global ( SRGGF ) has secured
contracts worth A$850 million ($551.7 million) across diverse
sectors in Australia and New Zealand, the construction and
engineering firm said on Wednesday.
The agreements include deals with Origin Energy ( OGFGF ),
South32 ( SHTLF ), BHP Iron Ore and Genesis Minerals ( GSISF ).
Shares of the company rose as much as 10.8% in early trade
and hit a record high of A$1.75. The stock was up 8.2% as of
1212 GMT, while the broader ASX 200 benchmark index
added 0.2%.
The company has signed a five-year contract to provide asset
integrity and reliability services for Origin Energy ( OGFGF ) at its
Darling Downs, Eraring and Shoalhaven power assets across
Queensland and New South Wales.
Under its five-year contract with South32 ( SHTLF ), the world's
biggest manganese producer, SRG will deliver specialist shutdown
maintenance services for the miner's Worsley operations in the
southwest region of Western Australia.
The company has also entered asset integrity and reliability
services contracts with BHP Iron Ore in the Pilbara region of
Western Australia, BHP Copper's assets in South Australia,
Alcoa's ( AA ) refineries in the southwest of Western Australia
and Anglo American's assets across Australia.
SRG finalised a deal with Genesis Minerals ( GSISF ) to provide
specialist production drilling and grade control services at the
company's Jupiter gold operations.
The Australia-based diversified infrastructure services
company has secured several other contracts with existing
clients in sectors such as water, health, education, defence and
data centres.
In November 2024, SRG won contracts worth A$700 million
across Australia and New Zealand.
