01:54 PM EDT, 06/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SSR Mining ( SSRGF ) temporarily suspended operations at the Seabee gold mine in Northern Saskatchewan due to power interruptions caused by forest fires.

The fires, located 15 kilometers to the north of the mine, don't pose an immediate threat to the site or infrastructure, and normal safety measures are being taken, the company said Wednesday in a statement.

The company's shares fell 3.6% in recent trading Wednesday.
