Stack Capital Group's Holding Partnering With Japanese-Based SMBC Group; Stack Hit Fresh 52-Week Highs Today

04:51 PM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stack Capital Group ( STCGF ) on Thursday said Hopper, Inc., one of the company's portfolio holdings, announced a partnership with Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co, the largest credit card issuer in Japan, owned by SMBC Group.

According to a statement, the partnership will see HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions) "create and power" the travel loyalty portal for SMCC, enabling its cardholders to book flights, accommodations, and car rentals.

Jeff Parks, Stack Capital's ( STCGF ) chief executive said in the statement: "HTS started from scratch just a couple of years ago. Today, HTS accounts for two-thirds of Hopper's business"

Stack Capital ( STCGF ) closed Thursday up $0.11 to $10.45 on the Toronto Stock Exchange, matching a 52-week high.
