Stagwell Agrees To Acquire ADK GLOBAL, Expanding APAC Footprint

Stagwell Inc. ( STGW ) shares are trading slightly higher in the premarket session on Thursday.

Today, the company has announced its intent to acquire ADK GLOBAL, a network of marketing subsidiaries managed by ADK Holdings Inc.

Based in Japan, ADK GLOBAL operates in 10 markets worldwide, offering integrated marketing solutions with a deep understanding of local markets, media, and consumers.

The acquisition marks a significant expansion of Stagwell’s global presence, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, where ADK GLOBAL has a strong footprint.

The deal will increase Stagwell’s regional staff to over 2,000 team members across 14 APAC countries, including China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam.

With the addition of ADK GLOBAL, Stagwell ( STGW ) will expand its AI-powered marketing solutions and enhance its ability to deliver creative, media, and PR services for both local and global clients.

These solutions will support brands such as LG, Adidas, and Shanghai Disney Resort, helping them achieve impactful results in the digital marketing space.

Mark Penn, Chairman and CEO of Stagwell ( STGW ), emphasized that the acquisition will strengthen Stagwell’s APAC division and enable the company to offer a comprehensive suite of marketing services tailored to local, regional, and global clients.

This collaboration aligns with Stagwell’s goal to enhance its global marketing capabilities, providing clients with digital solutions while expanding its market presence in the rapidly growing APAC region.

Price Action: STGW shares are trading higher by 3.12% to $6.60 premarket at last check Thursday.
