12:39 PM EST, 01/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Stagwell ( STGW ) said Wednesday it launched Stagwell Italy and appointed Diego Ricchiuti as the company's inaugural chief executive for the region, effective immediately.

Ricchiuti will report to Stagwell EMEA CEO James Townsend, according to the company.

Ricchiuti most recently served as CEO of MullenLowe Italia, Stagwell ( STGW ) added.

Shares of Stagwell ( STGW ) were up 1.5% in recent trading.
