04:21 PM EDT, 03/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Greenland Energy ( GLND ) after trade on Friday said it signed a drilling agreement with Stampede Drilling ( STPDF ) to support operations in the Jameson Land Basin in southeast Greenland.

The agreement secures the use of Stampede's Rig #12, which is designed for Arctic conditions, to deploy crews and carry out drilling on a major frontier project. The five-year deal includes plans to drill up to two wells, the company said.

"Stampede brings proven expertise in Arctic conditions and a track record of safety and efficiency, giving us the operational backbone to deliver our 2026 program," Greenland Energy ( GLND ) Chief Executive Robert Price said.
