Standard Lithium Down 1.5% In US Premarket As Changes CEO

08:54 AM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Standard Lithium Ltd. ( SLI ) , a near-commercial lithium development company, was at last look down 1.5% in US premarket Thursday as it changes Chief Executive.

Effective Sept. 1, 2024, Robert Mintak will retire as CEO but remain engaged as an advisor through August 2025. David Park will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Over the past year, a statement said, Park has been actively engaged with Standard Lithium ( SLI ) as a strategic advisor, working closely with the senior management team.

Prior to his advisory role, Park served as President of Koch Strategic Platforms, the division of Koch Industries which invested in Standard Lithium ( SLI ) in 2021.
