04:56 AM EDT, 03/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Standard Lithium ( SLI ) said Wednesday it has installed the LiPRO Lithium Selective Sorption commercial-scale direct lithium extraction column at its demonstration plant near El Dorado, Arkansas.

The company said the column was supplied by Koch Technology Solutions and was integrated with its existing plant to test and derisk LiPRO technology's design for commercial applications.

Standard Lithium ( SLI ) expects commissioning later this month and said it plans to conduct testing of the extraction technology over the following months.
