Stantec Selected to Lead Design for 7km Dundas Bus Rapid Transit Mississauga East Corridor in Ontario

08:31 AM EDT, 05/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Stantec ( STN ) , sustainable design and engineering company, on Thursday said the city of Mississauga selected the company to lead detailed design and contract administration on the Dundas Bus Rapid Transit Mississauga East Corridor, which includes more than 7km of bus rapid transit with 8 stops.

The Dundas BRT Mississauga East segment has an estimated project budget of $580 million. Stantec's ( STN ) Water group will work with water engineering partner CIMA+ on about 12,500 metres of watermain and about 12,600 metres of wastewater main replacement.

Shares of the company closed up 0.4% to $126.28 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
