11:05 AM EDT, 04/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Star Bulk Carriers ( SBLK ) said Tuesday that it has closed its merger with Eagle Bulk Shipping ( EGLE ) .

Eagle shareholders received 2.6211 Star Bulk common shares for each Eagle common share, which has stopped trading and will no longer be listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Star Bulk said.

Star Bulk shares were down 1.8% in recent trading.
