Starbucks' North American president to step down
Jan 28, 2025 6:57 AM

(Reuters) -Starbucks said on Tuesday its North American president Sara Trilling would be stepping down after nearly three years at the role.

The company also said it would now have a new role of North America chief stores officer.

The moves are part of CEO Brian Niccol's plan to bring sweeping changes at the struggling coffee chain, including lowering wait times and implementing a "coffeehouse code of conduct" to make the stores more inviting.

The company also said that Arthur Valdez, its supply and customer solutions chief who joined in 2023, has decided to leave.
