09:50 AM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Starbucks ( SBUX ) said late Monday it has promoted co-Chief Executive Molly Liu to serve as CEO of its China operations, effective Sept. 30.

The company appointed Liu as co-CEO of its China business in 2023 along with Belinda Wong, Starbucks ( SBUX ) said on its WeChat channel.

Wong will continue to serve as chairman of Starbucks China, the company said.
