Jul 14, 2025 11:29 AM

02:01 PM EDT, 07/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Starbucks ( SBUX ) said Monday it will shift from three-days in office to a four-days in office weekly policy for its corporate employees at the beginning of its new fiscal year that starts in October.

The move applies to the company's Seattle and Toronto support centers as well as the regional offices in North America, Starbucks ( SBUX ) Chief Executive Brian Niccol said in a blog post.

The company also tweaked its remote work policy, and said that all support center leaders are expected to be based in Seattle or Toronto within 12 months.

Starbucks ( SBUX ) said that while individual contributors are not being asked to relocate, hiring for future roles and lateral moves would require partners to be based in either Seattle or Toronto.
