08:33 AM EST, 12/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stardust Power ( SDST ) said Tuesday it has completed its acquisition of a 66-acre site in Oklahoma for construction of its lithium refinery in Muskogee.

The company said it purchased the site in Southside Industrial Park from the city of Muskogee for about $1.7 million, which includes the extension and option payments that Stardust previously made.

Stardust said it has received a permit to start construction at the site and plans to submit the remaining necessary permits in the coming weeks.

The company's shares were up 4.9% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
