08:41 AM EDT, 03/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Starfighters Space ( FJET ) said Monday it has partnered with Blackstar Orbital to advance flight testing of reusable hypersonic space systems.

The company said the collaboration will integrate Blackstar's SpaceDrone vehicle with its F-104 aircraft to move from simulations to real-world testing.

Initial supersonic test flights are planned for late 2026, followed by high-altitude release tests over the Atlantic, the company said.
