Jun 21, 2024 6:13 AM

08:59 AM EDT, 06/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Starr Peak Mining ( STRPF ) said Friday that it has identified several untested geochemical soil anomalies on its NewMetal property in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt of Quebec, near the town of Normetal.

An analysis returned base and precious metal anomalies over new areas, the company said.

Among the areas identified, three areas are characterized by a volcanogenic massive sulfide base metal signature; five areas are characterized by precious metal mineralization associated with VMS systems; and four areas have been characterized by anomalous gold content.

The soil survey covered three priority areas over the NewMetal property.
