Co-founded by Sandeep Deshmukh, Saurabh Nigam and Shitiz Bansal in 2016, ElasticRun is a Pune-based logistics startup. The startup allows its customers to run transportation and supply chain systems in an asset-light model in over 200 Indian cities.

What do we mean by the asset-light model? ElasticRun leverages the network of small convenience stores by enabling the store owners to gain increased revenue by handling last-mile deliveries. Today, ElasticRun has raised $40 million, led by Prosus Ventures, which was formerly known as Naspers Ventures, with participation from existing investors Avataar Ventures and Kalaari Capital. CNBC-TV18’s Megha Vishwanath spoke to co-founder and CEO of ElasticRun, Sandeep Deshmukh and discussed their fundraising plans.

Online home interior design and renovation platform, Livspace kicks of its global expansion plan with Singapore. The home interior design platform will invest nearly $30 million as it looks to expand in the Asia Pacific region. CNBC-TV18’s Mugdha Variyar spoke to Livspace's co-founder, Ramakant Sharma and discussed the company's expansion plans.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is enabling us to rethink how we integrate information, analyse data and use insights to improve decision making. And one company that is constantly trying to stay ahead of the curve and leverage the power of AI is Samsung.

CNBC-TV18’s Kritika Saxena caught up with Samsung's senior vice president R&D, Vikram Vij and asked him how the company is developing next-generation of AI technologies, their plans around integrated voice tech and how tough it is to scale AI with data without violating privacy.
