08:23 AM EST, 12/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Starwood Property Trust ( STWD ) said Tuesday it is launching a private offering of $400 million of unsecured senior notes due 2030.

Starwood said it will use the net proceeds to repay $400 million of 3.750% senior notes due 2024.

The company also said it plans to allocate an amount equal to the net proceeds from the offering to finance or refinance green and social projects.
